Once upon a time, Anthony (Myriad Kindler) was born in Austin, TX in 1995. Like all children, he entered the world with a boundless flame of love, curiosity, and energy. He adored his family, cherished his friends, and found joy in the realms of imagination. However, like many children, his fire soon began to dim as he faced the challenges that come with growing older. But one day, while he was still a boy, a new spark reignited his dwindling fire.
He heard beautiful music that awakened something deep within him. It rekindled a flame that would only grow stronger with time—first as a choir kid, then in band and musical theatre and acapella groups, later as a music major, and finally as a professional musician and composer. Yet, this was only the first spark to light within him.
As a child, he also discovered the incredible worlds hidden in books. Although that flame waxed and waned with the seasons of life, it never fully extinguished. Over time, more sparks joined the fire: a love of art and poetry discovered in high school, a passion for film found in college, and an affinity for podcasts and audio dramas that followed soon after. While these flames seemed to light easily within him, not all did.
For much of his life, Anthony battled to kindle a love of self. But in time, through perseverance and the guidance of others, the fire of self-love was ignited, bringing with it an unexpected gift—the ability to love others more deeply than ever before. Once sparked, these flames grew rapidly, outpacing all others. In the heart of these fires, he discovered one more thing.
The flames of creativity, compassion, and connection did not burn apart from one another—they were one. Together, they formed a myriad love for people and the stories they tell. Just as the kindness and creativity of others had added kindling to his own fire, so too did he wish to do the same for others. So was born the Myriad Kindler.
And so, he set out—to inspire and connect, to tell stories, to make music, and to share his light with all who seek to rekindle their own.
